BBU ends Western Uni.FC's unbeaten run.

Two Second Half goals confined Western Uni.FC to their first defeat of the season to put and end to their Unbeaten run that spanned three games. Despite dominating the first half,  Goals in the 77th and 80th minute was all BBU needed to run away with the 3 points.

Western missed three chances in the opening 10 minutes as their top scorer David Njoku's shots were blocked off.  First inside 6 minutes, the Nigeria Top Striker for the University side was put through by Privat and his shot was deflected off for a corner kick.

3 minutes later, David was also at the end of another Beautiful move from Western but his header went narrowly wide.

Western Continued the pressure as BBU were forced to retreat back and Mesmerizing Privat wriggled his way through the flank before sending a low cross which David once again got to the end and only God knows how BBU goalkeeper shut him out.

The First Half ended with both sides level and BBU are the happier to go into the break without conceding.

At the Start of the Second Half Western continued to push forward  and Privat Mbarga looked to have opened scores when he timed his run to latch on to the ball but was ruled offside.

BBU came stronger in the second half and got their rewards with a tactical change which saw Richard Omokafe pushing forward thereby causing more problem for Western Defense.

A momentary lose of concentration and a faulty clearance gifted BBU their first goal as the stiker shot sailed into the roof top of the net in the 77thm minute.

Western Barely knew what hit them when another chance came to Richard Omokafe as Western failed to clear their lines and the Nigerian Shot at close range beat Goalkeeper Ronoch for BBU second in the 80th minute.

With three minutes left Western got several chances to get back into the game but couldnt find the net.

Once again for the 4th time in as many matches western uni.fc were denied a penalty when a BBU defender looked to have handled the ball in the area but referee waved it aside.
