Visa Delays Ivorien MCL Debut

Ivorian Player Goze Brizi Dioudonne's hope of making his Metfone Cambodia League Debut has once again being dealt a further blow as the Striker's visa irregularities is yet to be cleared by the Club and the Immigration.
The CIV born player who made his debut for Western Uni.FC on Sunday in the 2-1 lose to Boueng Ket FC will have to wait for a while to complete his registration with the Football Federation of Cambodia. Coach Meas Samouern who was hoping to have the player ready against Albirex Nigatta in this weekend's fixture is disappointed the player cannot be available.

"I really dont know what is delaying his Visa processing, I expect the Manager to have cleared him by now, he is a very good player and I was hoping he would be available to help the team" the Coach Said.

The players himself is feeling frustrated and eager to take on to the pitch as soon as possible "We have been working on my Visa, I am really sad i cannot play now after almost three weeks of waiting, I really hope this issue can be settled soon" Goze Said.

According to the Football Federation Rules, Players must have valid long term visas before they are allowed to play in the league, meanwhile for most of the African players coming, they are often subjected to Visa problems by the Immigration with some given only short stays which are often difficult to extend and the players would have to go our of the country and re-enter again before they can have valid documents to play in the league.
