Boeung Ket down Western 2-1 in Friendly.

Western Uni.FC paid the prize of some sloppy defending to concede two goals against BKFC before pulling one back through an own goal of their own to end the tie 2-1 this afternoon at the Olympic Stadium.

With Many of the University backed regulars away to kampong som for Tiger Cup Street football, Coach Meas Samouern gave a debut start for Ivorien Goze Brizi and the former Morocco league player impressed and converted a beautiful free kick but saw his effort ruled out and the referee reordered him to take it and booked him for no reasons.

Ghana Striker Tijani opened scores in the 75th minute when he capitalized on a sloppy play from Kevin Keumes and raced before finding the low post.five minutes later Ghanaian raced to the bar line and saw his crossed rolled into the net by a touch from Captain Krouch Mol for an own goal. Western got their consolation when Samouen on the other end was saw his supposed clearance sail into an open net with the goal keeper in no man's land. It was a goal a striker would be proud of.

Western could have earned a share of the spoils in the dying minute when Privat Mbarga shrugged off two Bkfc defenders but rather than pulled the trigger teed his compatriot Kevin whose effort was inches wide.Western will take the positives from the match given that they lost 2-0 in the league 3 weeks ago to BKFc and will be looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday 30th March against Albirex who lost 5-1 to PPC in a friendly on Saturday.
