Albirex takes 3 points off Western Uni.Fc

Western Uni.FC's dwindling form continued as they suffered their third straight defeat losing to bottom placed Albirex 1-2.

The university backed team took the lead in the 59 minute when Oeun Kosal was at the end of a David Njoku free kick right at the edge of the box and his header sailed into the net.

Western dominated the first half but poor finishing on the part of Privat Mbarga denied WUFC several scoring chances.

They paid the price of their complacency in front of goal as Albirex capitalized on some sloppy defending in the 80th and 90th minute to record their first win of the season.

WUFC will have to braise themselves up quickly as they face Defending champion Svay Rieng on Wednesday for their outstanding fixture.
